Mitch Magee is a Brooklyn-based artist and filmmaker. He received his BFA from Cornell University and his Masters Degree in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His film work had been shown widely at festivals throughout the country and his paintings have been shown in group exhibitions throughout New York, most recently at Suzanne Randolph Fine Arts in SoHo. In 2008, his work was chosen as an official selection to the New York Television Festival. In 2007, he was honored as a finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award, sponsored by HBO. His work has been featured in a several online and print publications including TimeOut New York, The Seattle Weekly, comedycentral.com and bestweekever.tv. He has also been a performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since November of 2000. His work can be viewed online at mitchmagee.com.
