The May Center is open and we have plenty of outdoor and virtual fitness classes to keep us all moving. Explore our outdoor and virtual personal training options below.

Small Group Training & Group Exercise Classes

We have designed a weekly small group training and group exercise program that includes fifteen virtual fitness classes with your favorite 92Y May Center instructors and trainers. All virtual fitness classes are 45-60 minutes unless stated otherwise.

Virtual Workout @ Home, ongoing:

Monday, 8 am: Boxing Conditioning | Kareem Collins

A fun cardiovascular workout using fundamental boxing techniques and strength building exercises.

Monday, 11:45 am: Yoga Blend | Dalit Agronin

Yoga flows combined with rounds of interval conditioning exercises to provide a total body balance, flexibility, and strength wokout.

Mat or a towel or blanket can be a substitution, small towel, light weights, bean cans or something similar can substitute.

Monday, 6 pm: Functional Fusion Plus Absolute Abs (FF Plus AA) | Cathy G (75 minutes)

A dynamic blend of functional fusion exercises, followed by intense core exercises, specifically designed to strengthen and tone the abdominals.

Two pair of weights or water bottles, lighter, heavier. Chair, couch or wall option for pushups, towel because we will sweat a lot and mat if needed to for ab and floor work.

Tuesday, 8 am: Total Body Strength and Stretch Combo | Dalit Agronin

This circuit style workout helps strengthen every muscle group, while breaking a sweat. Class concludes with a series of stretches and flows designed to increase flexibility, reduce muscle soreness, and reduce injury risk.

Mat or a towel or blanket can be a substitution, small towel, light weights, bean cans or something similar can substitute.

Tuesday, 12 pm: Power Pump | Mark Koester (30 minutes)

Targeted training to progress your fitness program. Each virtual session features challenging workouts, modified for all levels, focusing on muscle-specific strength-building.

Mat or a towel or blanket can be a substitution, small towel, light weights, bean cans or something similar can substitute.

Tuesday, 6 pm: Pilates Mat | Alicia Principe

The Pilates Method Mat Exercise: Low impact form of exercise, developed by Joseph H. Pilates, that improves posture, increases core strength, flexibility and balance with the effective use of breathing to increase body awareness.

A mat or a “beach towel” to lie on. They will also need a neatly folded bath towel for support of their head to avoid strain on their neck.

Wednesday, 7 am: Relentless | Sam Lopez

An aggressive fitness challenge packed with intensive cardio strength moves to boost power and develop core muscles.

Wednesday, 5:45 pm: Bodyweight Super Sculpt Plus Absolute Abs | Cristel (75 minutes)

Tighten and tone muscles using slow and controlled bodyweight strength movements, paired with high intensity interval exercises to get sweaty and burn calories. Followed by intense core exercises, specifically designed to strengthen, and tone the abdominals.

Thursday, 8 am: Total Body Strength and Stretch Combo | Dalit Agronin

Thursday, 12:15 pm: Cardio Crunch Calorie Blast | Cathy G (30 minutes)

A high intensity workout with quick bursts of cardio and strength exercises. Burning more calories in a short period.

Thursday, 6 pm: Yoga Strength | Yasu Suzuki

This unique format focuses on building strength, balance and flexibility while engaging in a variety of yoga poses.

Yoga mats if possible, blocks or a few big thick books instead of blocks, a blanket or a towel, yoga belt, or any kind of belt, even a towel will work.

Improve your flexibility with basic stretches designed to increase range of motion and prevent injury using restorative postures.

Our community will be able to purchase online! We must find ways to stay socially connected during this time of physical distance. Exercise is critical during this unexpected sedentary lifestyle.

For Members

Follow these simple steps to get started:

  • Create your May Center online account at Myiclubonline (or just sign-in if you have previously registered)
  • You will need to register a new account using your Agreement Number (which can be located on your membership agreement that was emailed when you first signed up), First Name, Last Name and Zip code associated with your account). You will then be prompted to create a username and password.

To Purchase:

  • Sign into your account at www.myiclubonline.com. Under the “Shop” tab, you may purchase your “Group Exercise @ Home,” “Prescribed,” or “Virtual 1 on 1 Personal Training Package.”

For Non-members

  • Go to Join Now and use promo code @HOME. $92 monthly membership option.

To Book your Live Stream Class:

  • Under the “My Activities” tab, click “Enroll in a Class”. You will see the list of available group exercise @ home virtual classes available. Select “Enroll Now” for each class you wish to participate in. You will then receive an email from 92Y with a link to the class. Note that your membership option must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance. Note that a member of our team will reach out to you to schedule your first virtual prescribed session within 24 hours.
