Prosecuting War Criminals: Judgement at Nuremberg
Film historian Annette Insdorf moderates a conversation with lawyer and former U.S. prosecutor Telford Taylor about the film Judgement at Nuremberg (1961). Taylor served as lead counsel at 12 of the 13 Nuremberg trials, including the trial covered in the film. Insdorf and Taylor discuss the accuracy of the film, its value as a historical document, and the aftermath and meaning of the trials. The discussion includes questions from the audience.
