School of Music faculty member Eleonor Bindman shares her “All About Animals” Classical4Kids playlist, featuring the beloved Peter and the Wolf, selections from Carnival of the Animals, and more!

School of Music Director Yana Stotland says, “Peter and the Wolf is particularly wonderful for listening to with your children. It has a terrific story and it introduces children to the instruments, and instrument families, of the orchestra. Encourage your children to be active participants as you listen. Ask them to point out the different instruments representing the animals. Ask them how different sections of the music make them feel. It’s so important for parents to share in their children’s music exploration—it’s a joyful experience that brings the whole family closer.”
