92NY welcomes everyone to take advantage of what we offer regardless of financial circumstances. Scholarship assistance is available for both children and adults who qualify based on financial need. We encourage you to apply for assistance and to join the diverse community served by 92nd Street Y.

Scholarship information and an application are available for download. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship to 92NY Afterschool please use this application. All completed applications can be emailed to “Scholarships [at] 92NY [dot] org.”
Completed applications should be returned to Scholarship Services and will be processed as quickly as possible. Scholarship Services will notify you by phone or letter about your scholarship request. At that time, you will need to complete the registration process at the Sales and Customer Service Center in the main lobby or at the appropriate department office.

Edwin Caplin Foundation Music Scholarship

The Edwin Caplin Foundation Music Scholarship was established in 2012 to provide full-year full scholarships for children and teens who demonstrate a dedicated commitment to studying music and financial need to continue their studies.
This scholarship offers dedicated students a pre-professional musical environment with numerous performing opportunities. The individually personalized curriculum includes year-round private instruction in piano, guitar, voice and all orchestral instruments, in addition to a diverse selection of music classes.
