NYC is a photographer’s paradise. In this class we will explore photography using Central Park as our backdrop with its foliage, water, bridges, and iconic architecture.
We will focus our attention on scenery and composition. We will also cover macro lenses, natural light, and landscape image making while remaining socially distant and safe. Sessions will include a combination of question and answer, assignment reviews, demonstrations, and discussions. At least one session will be primarily spent reviewing assignments. Open to all levels.
All classes scheduled to occur onsite are subject to state and federal safety guidelines. In the event that some, or all, of the meetings of the course cannot happen in person at 92Y, classes will be held at the schedule time in a virtual format via a video conferencing platform. The classes will continue through hands-on, at home activities, lectures, presentations, and / or group discussions. No refunds will be issued should any portion of a course be held virtually.
