Writing is a way of looking, of seeing past clichés.
How do the elements of craft help us see better as we write? How do we guide our readers to see what we’re seeing? Through workshopping your work and that of your fellow students, as well as writing exercises and reading published work, we examine voice, character, point of view and, not least, that much-maligned aspect of storytelling: story.
Class meets Wednesdays: Feb 17, 24, Mar 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Apr 7.
