Naomi Dubin

Naomi Dubin is a vocalist, cellist and educator from New Jersey, and is a graduate of Vassar College, where she studied Music and Anthropology. At Vassar, Naomi served as director for the contemporary music choir, an teaching assistant for the Music History department, and performed in a wide range of instrumental and choral ensembles. In her current role as Program Manager for 92Y’s Center for Educational Outreach, Naomi oversees the Musical Introduction Series and assists with the center’s new initiatives in STEAM programming. She is also a Teaching Artist for MIS, which allows her to work directly with students in New York City’s public schools, in addition to her responsibilities as an administrator.

Over the past several years, Naomi has taught chorus for the Outreach Center’s Schools Partnership Program, worked with elementary school youth at the Catharine Street Community Center in Poughkeepsie, New York and interned with the Marketing team at the Music Academy of the West in California. She has also had the opportunity to work with adolescent students in her position as vocal coach and music department assistant at the Eagle Rock School and Professional Development Center in Estes Park, Colorado. A resident of Brooklyn, Naomi also sings in a choir and trains for distance running events.
