Instructors

Gustav Hamilton

Gustav Hamilton received a BFA from the University of Montana and his MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Prior to moving to New York City he was a Visiting Professor at Colorado State University. His sculptures and paintings exist as auto-fictitious objects where real life events merge with fictional narrative. In this space of total authorship family heirlooms have as much relevance as imagined encounters with Jerry Seinfeld.

Christian Dietkus Lord

Christian Dietkus Lord was born in Oakland California and received his BFA from the Cooper Union in 2005 and his MFA from Columbia University in 2013. Working across medias, including, ceramic, steel, paint and rubber, his work combines fine art, craft and activist modalities to explore issues of consumer culture, branding and colonialism. He has exhibited nationally and internationally including Deitch Projects, Family Business, Salon 94, Louis B. James in New York as well as the Nicaraguan Biennia ...
