Instructors

Cammi Climaco

Cammi Climaco is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Cammi studied Crafts at Kent State University and Ceramics at Cranbrook Academy of Art. She has taught at The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and Pratt Institute of Art and Design. She has done residencies at The Pottery Workshop, Jingdezhen and the Lower East Side Print Shop. Cammi shows nationally.

Christian Dietkus Lord

Christian Dietkus Lord was born in Oakland California and received his BFA from the Cooper Union in 2005 and his MFA from Columbia University in 2013. Working across medias, including, ceramic, steel, paint and rubber, his work combines fine art, craft and activist modalities to explore issues of consumer culture, branding and colonialism. He has exhibited nationally and internationally including Deitch Projects, Family Business, Salon 94, Louis B. James in New York as well as the Nicaraguan Biennial, Central America ...

Ibrahim Khazzaka

Ibrahim Khazzaka was born in Beirut, Lebanon and is currently living and teaching in a Brooklyn. He earned his BA in Clinical Psychology from Université Libanaise (2012).

Since 2015, he has worked in ceramic design, production and art studios giving him a wide variety of skills in the operation of studios as well as traditional and new production processes.

His current work is process oriented and seeks to explore belonging and transcendence while reflecting on the tensions and emotions of being a new immigrant.

Sarah Emond

Sarah Emond has a M.A. New York University in sculpture. Emond works professionally as both a sculptor and functional ceramist. She works primarily on individual commissions and designing unique ceramic pieces for culinary photo shoots. Her work is held in private collections in the U.S and in Germany. Emond lives and works in New York City. Sarah has taught at Crafts Students League, Jewish Community Center, City College and Hunter College. She teaches corporate classes and private lessons at 92Y.
