This course is structured to help bring about an awareness of the language, history, and technical skills associated with abstract painting.
The class is open to a wide variety of skill levels, modes, and approaches to painting. Experimentation with materials and techniques form the backbone of the learning process. To achieve this, the instructor provides guidance through one-on-one discussion and group critiques. Projects in this class are optional and students should feel free to pursue their own work freely at any time during the course. For painters working in oil and/or acrylic.
