The Conversation Circle is an advanced course for students who are confident in their Italian grammar and vocabulary.
Those who enroll should be comfortable expressing themselves using verbs in the present and past tenses and the conditional mood, and should be interested in practicing their conversational skills and building vocabulary.
Questions about grammar will be addressed as they arise, but this course will not include extensive formal lessons on grammar. Instead, each class will be focused on a topic of conversation, with the occasional use of short readings to prompt discussion. Vocabulary lists will be provided as necessary. Discussion topics include current events in the US and Italy, food and wine, travel, family and work life, and more!
Please note that topics are subject to change based on the needs of the class.
Private and semiprivate lessons are available for foreign languages. For more information, for rates and to arrange sessions, email.
