Teen Arts Week

May 13-19, 2019

For teens, cultural and arts organizations, and schools

NYC’s first Teen Arts Week is a weeklong celebration of youth arts engagement at cultural venues in all five boroughs.

Created for teens by teens, the week connects young people with citywide cultural programs and creates an ongoing collaborative network of arts organizations.

A teen-led Summit at the 92nd Street Y will take place on Wednesday, May 15 from 4-6 pm. Featuring teens and professional artists in performances and moderated discussions, the Summit will explore how artists build community and create dialogue around social and political issues. The Summit will welcome 900 teens on-site and thousands more via livestream.

Get free access to arts events all over NYC.

Events taking place throughout the week are free and available to all teens with a valid middle school or high school ID.

Drive new, young audiences to your venue.

All cultural and performing arts venues are welcome to participate. Events should be free and open to all teens 13+ with a middle or high school ID. Each venue determines how it will engage teens throughout the week.

Bring your students to free educational arts events across NYC.

The complete schedule of events at arts venues in all five boroughs will be available here in February 2019.
