The Dance Education Laboratory is a professional development program for all educators and artists interested in developing their dance education curricula.
All DEL courses align with the New York City Department of Education Blueprint for Teaching and Learning Dance in grades K-12. Graduate or undergraduate college credit can be arranged with SUNY Empire State College for an additional fee. 92nd Street Y is a vendor listed with the New York City Department of Education.
92Y Dance Education Laboratory (DEL) is a New York State Education Department-approved Sponsor of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) and provider of CTLE hours pursuant to Section 80-6 of the Regulations of the Commission of Education.

College credit for DEL courses: SUNY Empire State College
Non-matriculating undergraduate and matriculating graduate credits for DEL courses may be arranged through SUNY Empire State College. Students currently licensed to teach by the New York State Education Department may apply credit toward the Content Core – Dance requirement for dance teacher certification.
