Musical Introduction Series

92nd Street Y’s Musical Introduction Series empowers children in grades K-3 to explore the world’s musical genres and engage in music-making. Through exploration of rich musical traditions in class and at live performances, students cultivate a global perspective that nurtures for people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

"The arts humanize us and give us a glimpse as to why we exist, why we are alive. The arts give us all that and more. Without the arts, we really die as a society." – Arturo O’Farrill, Grammy Award Winner
