(Crossword)Puzzles in a Pandemic: Will Shortz in Conversation with Budd Mishkin

Will Shortz and Budd Mishkin

Will Shortz is at the helm of two institutions that elicit great passion: The New York Times crossword puzzle and NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday puzzle.

His love of puzzles started at an early age in Indiana, flourished when he moved to New York and remains until this day.

This master of words discusses his almost thirty year run as the editor of The New York Times crossword puzzle, more than 30 years as NPR’s Puzzlemaster and the role of puzzles during a pandemic.

Join him in conversation with Budd Mishkin on 92Y’s new series New York Then, New York Now.
