Westside Living Architectural Walking Tour

This tour traverses three neighborhoods on the West Side of Manhattan—Tribeca, Hudson Square and the West Village—focusing on new residential buildings on the formerly industrial blocks near the Hudson River Park.

The tour is approximately 2.5 miles long and ends at 1:30 pm.

Meet at 56 Leonard Street, the southwest corner of Leonard and Church Streets in Tribeca.

John Hill

John Hill is an architect, blogger, freelance writer and editor, and published author. He grew up in Chicago, went to architecture school in Kansas and then moved to New York City after working at an architecture firm in Chicago for ten years. Since the move to NYC in 2006 he has focused on writing and put out five books on architecture—in NYC and beyond. The latest, NYC Walks, presents ten walking tours he has been giving since the publication of his first book, Guide to Contemporary New York City Architecture.
