Schubert’s Final Sonatas, Part 1 — Shai Wosner, piano

Pianist Shai Wosner has drawn international praise for his exceptional artistry, musical integrity, insightful performances and imaginative programming. But it’s his performances and recordings of the music of Schubert that have earned him special acclaim. Wosner returns to 92Y with a new late-night series in our smaller, more intimate performance space, with three recitals focusing on the composer’s pioneering last six piano sonatas. The pianist views these sonatas as “six great novels, rich with insights into the human condition.” Join us for this extraordinary exploration.
