“Erev Pride”—the evening before we celebrate identity, resilience and perseverance during the month of June.

We kick it all off on May 31 with Shabbat dinner and activist and National Book Award-winning author, Masha Gessen, whose work as a queer journalist in Russia under Putin has received international acclaim. She will be joined in conversation with the Founding Spiritual Leader of Lab/Shul, Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie. Come together to reflect where we are in the fight for queer liberation globally in commemoration of Stonewall’s 50th Anniversary.

We’ve still got work to do, but it all starts with community.

This will be a vegetarian Kosher-style meal. If you have any difficulty affording this dinner please reach out to Jason Rosenberg: email.
