Nature Walk in Central Park with Ken Chaya

Fall Foliage II: Turtle Pond and Great Lawn

Join Ken Chaya—artist, urban naturalist, and creator of the definitive tree map, Central Park Entire—for off-the-beaten-path nature walks.

At the base of Belevedere Castle lies Turtle Pond, where, in addition to turtles, we can observe numerous species of birds, fish, frogs and dragonflies among the shoreline of trees and shrubs that not only look beautiful, but also improve the function of the natural habitat.

Meet at West 81st Street and Central Park West Park entrance (north east corner) at 10 am.
