Emily Dickinson, The Poet in the Garden

Marta McDowell
Emily Dickinson, The Poet in the Garden

There is poetry in the garden, and Emily Dickinson found it.

She distilled botanical knowledge, horticultural skills and explorations of the natural world into her distinct poetic voice. This course will explore the poet’s life in and around the garden through her letters, poems, and the plants she knew and grew.

A selection of poems and letters will be provided to participants to read before and discuss during the session.
