Award-winning chef and restaurateur Akhtar Nawab (Michelin Bib Gourmand Award-winning Alta Calidad, Otra Vez, La Esquina, and stints in the kitchens of Gramercy Tavern and Craft) joins us to lead a Cooking Class featuring a fabulous clean eating recipe from his debut book, Good for You: Bold Flavors with Benefits.
Just in time for fall, Nawab demos his sublime but virtuous Mexican Roast Chicken, including tips on how to properly toast spices. The recipe, along with another for his Chicken & Black Bean Chili, is gluten-free, dairy-free, and brilliantly showcases his clean eating/rich flavor approach. And the recipes are provided upon registration, so you can try them in advance or prepare the roast chicken along with Nawab during the class. You’ll also be able to interact live with Akhtar and ask questions during the session. Learn how to make a top chef’s unique and healthful versions of cold weather staples, along with techniques and takeaways that will help you add bold flavor to the food you cook, long after the class is over.
