Join the jazz all-star group ARTEMIS—pianist and musical director Renee Rosnes, clarinetist Anat Cohen, tenor saxophonist Melissa Aldana, trumpeter Ingrid Jensen, bassist Noriko Ueda, drummer Allison Miller and featured vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant—as they talk with WBGO’s Nate Chinen about their critically acclaimed debut album on Blue Note Records.

Comprising seven of the most accomplished musicians, bandleaders and composers in jazz, the international, intergenerational supergroup made its electrifying North American debut on 92Y’s stage in 2017. They return to reflect on and share tracks from their album, to talk about the group synergy built on individual personality that drives their “sleek, rhythm-forward, modern sound" (NPR), and the evolving term “women in jazz”—a phrase the band is handily nudging toward obsolescence.

Please note: CD and Vinyl are only available to be shipped domestically.

Patrons will receive an email from Blue Note Records ( with redemption instructions for the ARTEMIS album.
