Introducing music to young children is a gift that will enrich them for a lifetime.
The Music Room is NYC’s most engaging and educational class for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. The warm and nurturing environment—which parents and caregivers participate in—offers the ideal way for little ones to cultivate a relationship with music, starting them on a journey of discovery, creativity and joy.
Led by longtime children’s music educator Paul Williams, children are introduced to the piano, violin, guitar, ukulele, recorder, percussion and more, listening and learning about a new instrument each week. They explore rhythm through fun activities in movement and creative play, and every class includes a sing-a-long. The multi-age experience invites older children to develop leadership skills, younger ones to practice social skills, and siblings to enjoy music together, with everyone learning at their own pace.
Giving young children a foundation in music basics makes a profound impact on development and early childhood learning. Start them young, and watch them thrive!
