Important Update: 92Y remains open
Does not include service & handling fees, if applicable.
When we explore our stories by writing memoir, we have the opportunity to understand our experiences more deeply and give others a chance to reflect on theirs.
Tutorials are opportunities for memoir writers to work with Anya Yurchyshyn during a series of one-on-one sessions. These individually tailored sessions offer writers opportunities to receive focused feedback on their project, discuss strategies for revision and, depending on the writer’s goals and needs, can also include planning and strategizing as well as discussions of craft topics such as structure and voice.
Tutorial starts week of Wednesday, April 21. Four 30-minute sessions are scheduled at mutually convenient times and take place via Zoom or telephone. 25-pages of original work are discussed per session.
Students are chosen by Anya Yurchyshyn on the basis of a manuscript submission. Applications must be received by Monday, March 29 at 5 pm. View the submission guidelines.
