With so much pressure to ensure your children thrive, parents can often become stressed or anxious. Join Amanda Mintzer, PsyD, clinical psychologist at the Child Mind Institute, for a discussion about stressors related to parenthood and relationships. We will discuss practical strategies for self-care, including goal setting, coping skills, and incorporating mindfulness and relaxation techniques. We will also cover ways to make sure parents aren’t inadvertently communicating stress to their children.
