Join this workshop to learn how to bring focus and experimentation to your use of color in your paintings.
Artist Melissa Staiger will lead you through exercises that utilize our senses, visualization, and experimentation to explore new ways seeing and creating color. Through this innovative approach you will create palettes and color combinations in your own unique style or focus. This workshop will also include demonstrations and discussions that will help you learn how intuition and color theory can help resolve old work or make something brand new. Open to all levels of oil and acrylic painters.

Melissa Staiger is a Brooklyn, New York City based artist and curator. She has a Bachelor of Fine Art from Maryland Institute, College of Art and a Master of Fine Art from Pratt Institute. She is an independent artist curator and has been teaching visual art in New York City since 2005.
