Welcome to 21st century Judaism: a 23-week immersion into the most meaningful, rich and joyful aspects of Jewish thought, culture, spirituality and practice.
Whether you’re looking to convert, are partnered with someone Jewish, or are just plain Jewish and interested, you are welcome.
The 23 weeks are taught by Rabbi Scott Perlo, the Associate Director of the Bronfman Center. Packed with opportunities for learning and questioning, celebrating Shabbat and holidays, and building community, Derekh Torah is tailored to the individual needs of participants, while connecting you to each other and the broader Jewish world. If you’re working towards conversion, 92Y rabbis will guide you through the process. If you’re already Jewish, or don’t intend to convert, you’ll be in good company throughout the experience. Join our community of curious New Yorkers to explore Jewish life and get inspired.
Classes will begin on Thursday, October 17 from 7 to 9 pm. The following classes will meet consecutively on Thursdays for 23 weeks.
$800 individual, $1,500 couples
