A hands-on virtual workshop exploring art, music, and improvisation.
Let the sounds of Charlie Parker’s music take you away on an artistic exploration! Together we’ll take inspiration from Charlie Parker’s genius improvisations, melodies, and rhythms as a catalyst to explore intuitive mark-making and color improvisation. Where will the sounds take you? What will you create? Discover it in this ninety-minute visual art class with artist Melissa Staiger using materials you have at home.
Pencil and paper are all you need but feel free to get out supplies you already have such as color pencils, watercolor, acrylic, or any type of drawing medium.
