Frank McCourt, a New York City school teacher for almost three decades, is best remembered as author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir, Angela's Ashes. His knack for storytelling might have been exceeded only by his passion for teaching. At this event at 92Y in 2005, McCourt reads from his memoir Teacher Man. He is introduced by his brothers, Alphie and Malachy.
92Y needs your help
Many of you have asked how you can help 92Y as we face tremendous financial losses due to COVID-19. You can help sustain our beloved institution and support the creation of new, online programming that will bring comfort and inspiration to our community. Thank you.
