Raised in a musical family, Audrey Selph started her music education at age five, studying piano in her mother's studio. After a few years, Ms. Selph added the viola, leading her to study at the Harrison Center for the Performing Arts. There, she started a string quartet and began teaching violin lessons. She continued her studies as the Presser Scholar at the College of Music, Florida State University where she was a founding member of the WK Quartet and was the youngest contracted member of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Selph completed her time at FSU with a B.M. in viola performance and a B.M. in Music Therapy.

In 2008, Ms. Selph moved to New York to get her M.M. in viola performance at Stony Brook University under the tutelage of Kathy Murdock. During her musical career, she has performed in the U.S. and abroad with various groups including members of the Emerson Quartet, the Aeolus Ensemble, operamission, the New York Chamber Players, New York Symphonic Ensemble, and the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra.

Recent performances include concerts with the faculty of the International Baroque Institute (Boston, MA) and sessions at the Tea Room with singer-songwriters (Brooklyn, NY). Currently, Ms. Selph is a private and group music teacher at 92nd Street Y and Adjunct Faculty at Queens College for the Center for Preparatory Studies in Music. She is also a Board Certified Music Therapist with The Music Therapy Project, Inc., where she specializes in working with children with special needs.
