Soprano Lauri Galbreath made her debut at the age of fifteen in the world premiere of Sir David Willcock's Psalms of David at Carnegie Hall. She has since performed extensively in concerts, operas, musicals, oratorios and educational presentations with the New York Philharmonic, Manhattan Philharmonic, Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Opera, and others. Lauri has also performed and lectured for the Juilliard School's Literature and Materials of Music program, Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute and the New York Philharmonic's Musical Encounters lectures, pre-concert talks and Learning Overtures: Tokyo.

In collaboration with award-winning composer Morton Subotnick, Lauri researched and helped create an electronic music composition program, which is on permanent display at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Lauri has been on the faculty of 92Y since 2003.
