Cohen joins us for a special event, along with the film’s writer/producer/director Robert Palumbo and famed talk show host/author Dick Cavett, who began his showbiz career as a magician. Cavett will moderate a discussion about lost magic tricks (punctuated by clips from the History Channel special), presenting magic on TV and more, and Cohen will share a few live tricks with the audience.
Steve Cohen’s Waldorf Towers show Chamber Magic is the longest-running solo magic show in New York. He was also the star of a sold-out solo show at Carnegie Hall and has been featured in The New York Times and on “CBS Sunday Morning” and “Late Night with David Letterman.”

Dick Cavett was the host of the "The Dick Cavett Show," which won three Emmys and aired on ABC from 1968 to 1975 and on PBS from 1977 to 1982. He also hosted talk shows on the USA, HBO and CNBC cable networks. He is the co-author of two books, Cavett (1974) and Eye On Cavett (1983). He has appeared on Broadway in Otherwise Engaged, Into the Woods and as narrator in The Rocky Horror Show and has made guest appearances in movies and TV shows including Forrest Gump, Beetlejuice, "The Simpsons," HBO’s "Bored to Death" and TBS’s "Are We There Yet?." His latest book, published November 2010, is Talk Show: Confrontations, Pointed Commentary, and Off-Screen Secrets. Since 2007 he has written an online opinion column for The New York Times. Mr. Cavett lives in New York City and Montauk, New York.
