The Emmy-nominated actress, comedian and star of the Emmy-nominated NBC’s hit comedy series “Parks and Recreation” is releasing her highly anticipated first book, a non-linear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons entitled Yes Please.
The former SNL cast member star also produces and hosts the award-winning online series “Smart Girls at the Party,” and will voice a character in the upcoming animated web comedy series “The Awesomes.” In additional to her TV work she’s co-starring with Tina Fey in the upcoming Universal comedy The Nest and will lend her voice as “Joy” in Pixar’s next animated film Inside Out, both set for release in 2015. Additional film credits include They Came Together, A.C.O.D., Baby Mama, Blades of Glory, Mean Girls and Wet Hot American Summer.
Ms. Poehler’s work extends beyond her roles in front of the camera. She serves as executive producer of the scripted Comedy Central hit "Broad City" and recently signed a three-year producing deal with NBC studio Universal Television. She has teamed up with her brother, Greg Poehler, to form production company Syskon and their first series, "Welcome to Sweden," will premiere on NBC in July 2014 and will debut on Sweden’s TV4 network as their first English-language comedy.
Ms. Poehler received much critical acclaim when she co-hosted the 71st Golden Globe Awards with Tina Fey. They are set to co-host again next year.
Her portrayal of Leslie Knope on “Parks and Recreation” has earned her a Golden Globe award, a American Comedy Award and a Gracie Award, and she’s also received four consecutive Emmy nominations, two Golden Globe nominations and a Screen Actors Guild Awards nomination.
Seth Meyers is an Emmy Award-winning writer and current host of “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” He was recently named one of the 2014 TIME 100, Time magazine’s 100 most influential people, and was selected to host the upcoming 66th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Meyers began his TV career with “Saturday Night Live” in 2001, where he was a cast member for thirteen seasons. Meyers acted as head writer for nine seasons and “Weekend Update” anchor for eight seasons. In 2011, Meyers won the Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for host Justin Timberlake’s musical monologue. Meyers also garnered ten additional Emmy nominations for his work as a writer in television.
A graduate of Northwestern University, he studied and performed at ImprovOlympic before moving on to the Boom Chicago Theater in Amsterdam, Holland. His acclaimed show “Pick-ups and Hiccups” with partner Jill Benjamin toured Europe and eventually caught the eye of “SNL.”
Meyers also executive produces and lends his voice to Hulu’s animated superhero show “The Awesomes.” The show premiered in August 2013 and quickly became a runaway hit before being picked up for a second season. Meyers hosted the 2010 and 2011 ESPY Awards on ESPN and headlined the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner to rave reviews.
Meyers currently resides in New York City. His birthday is December 28.

Who is eligible for priority registration?
Individuals who have participated in 92nd Street Y programs over the past year in selected program areas, participants in certain memberships, and those who have made contributions of $500 or more to 92Y, are eligible to register for programs before they become available to the general public.
How do I know if I qualify?
Patrons that qualify for Priority Registration will receive packets in the mail explaining how to purchase online. Priority registration is normally mailed 2-3 weeks before a catalog is available. Registration information includes your Patron ID#. You can use this ID# to setup your login information online. This will allow you to register early for a course or event. Please note: if you receive a packet, you are only eligible to priority register for the programs covered in your packet.
