The fun of early music learning truly begins to blossom for toddlers in “Music Makers”. In each class, age-appropriate group activities are paired with exciting music from different cultures to expand the musical “repertoire” of early learners. These activities include 1) coordinated dance steps that boost body awareness and social dynamics 2) turn-taking experiences through group song and 3) exposure to an array of real musical instruments. In this stage, the toddler/preschooler brain is developing the “hard-wires” for cognitive and language development. BabyRhythms–Music Makers provides the perfect environment to encourage these skills through leadership, self-expression and learning the dynamics of organized music activities. Our class works hard to pave the way for a love of music and verve for life for your “Music Maker.”
Baby Rhythms offers music and movement classes for babies, toddlers and families. Our classes awaken and nurture young children’s development and are designed to boost early auditory, motor and social skills. Our classes pair age-appropriate group activities are paired with exciting music from different cultures to expand the musical “repertoire” of early learners. The emphasis is on caregiver interaction to help infants and toddlers learn by example to take turns, learn complex rhythms, dance and have fun doing it! The early music experience that we offer is scientifically proven to have positive effects on child development. Children enrolled in early music have 32% more literacy gain, hearing improvement in noise, decreased social anxiety, stronger memory retention and a heightened cultural awareness.
