    Instructor: Maggie Bouslog  show bio

    Maggie Bouslog has been dancing for 22 years, and working with kids for 14 years through nannying, teaching dance classes and swim lessons, coaching cheerleading and dance teams, planning and implementing child oriented events and running day camps. Maggie is also an American Red Cross certified Babysitter Training Instructor and also holds up to date American Red Cross certifications for Lifeguarding and Adult and Child CPR, AED and First Aid. Maggie holds a Master's of Art in Dance Education from New York University. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration from Western Illinois University in 2010, and while at WIU, Maggie held office, danced and choreographed for the Western Illinois University Dance Theatre. Following WIU she taught ballet, jazz and tap at Main Street Dance Academy in Princeton, Illinois before returning to school. During her time at NYU, Maggie had opportunities to study with Deborah Damast, Douglas Dunn, Claire Porter and Patricia Cohen. Her favorite experience with NYU is being a member of the 2012-2013 Kaleidoscope Dance Company; a community outreach creative dance collaboration between the NYU dance education department and schools throughout New York City and New Jersey. Maggie has also stage managed for Treeline Danceworks and was the Production Assistant for the 2013 American Dance Guild Festival. She also teaches dance classes for the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center.

Priority registration puts you at the front of the line to register for courses and events for an upcoming semester.

Eligible patrons will be able to order priority registration online.

 

Who is eligible for priority registration?

Individuals who have participated in 92nd Street Y programs over the past year in selected program areas, participants in certain memberships, and those who have made contributions of $500 or more to 92Y, are eligible to register for programs before they become available to the general public.

How do I know if I qualify?

Patrons that qualify for Priority Registration will receive packets in the mail explaining how to purchase online. Priority registration is normally mailed 2-3 weeks before a catalog is available. Registration information includes your Patron ID#. You can use this ID# to setup your login information online. This will allow you to register early for a course or event. Please note: if you receive a packet, you are only eligible to priority register for the programs covered in your packet.
