Suzan-Lori ParksSuzan-Lori Parks' new play The Book of Grace will premiere at The Public Theater in March of 2010. She is "one of our greatest artists," said Oskar Eustis, artistic director of The Public, where Parks is now in residence as master writer and where her most recent play, Father Comes Home from the Wars, debuted earlier this year. In 2007, her 365 Plays/365 Days was produced simultaneously in more than 700 theatres worldwide and she won the Pulitzer for Topdog/Underdog. "Her characters don't so much talk to us as sing, full-throated, of their joys and miseries," wrote Richard Russo.
