Members of the New Jazz Quartet have collaborated with Sheila E., Savion Glover, Betty Carter, Abbey Lincoln, the Xavier Cougat Orchestra, Jon Hendricks, the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Al Foster, Howard Alden, Ray Charles, Rosemary Clooney, Clifford Jordan, Mel Lewis, Brad Meldau, Joseph Jarman, Wynton Marsalis, Anat Cohen, Diana Krall, Bob Berg and Wycliffe Gordon, among many others.
