Brief Biography
Valentin Fuster, MD, PhD, is the director of The Mount Sinai Heart, the Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute and the Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Center for Cardiovascular Health. He is also the Richard Gorlin, MD/Heart Research Foundation Professor at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Marianne J. Legato, MD, FACP, is professor of clinical medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and the founder and director of the Foundation for Gender-Specific Medicine, Inc. She is the author of Why Men Die First and Why Men Never Remember and Women Never Forget and an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. David B. Samadi, MD, is the chief of the Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Arthur H. Aufses, Jr., MD, is a professor of surgery and health policy at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and a member of the board of directors of the 92nd Street Y.
