| | | | | | Comedy Below Canal™: The 2nd Annual New York Channy Awards with Channel 101 | | |  | | |  Each month at Channel 101, new five-minute shows from the best young writers and directors in NYC battle it out for the right to be turned into a series. In this special yearly awards show, all of the previous year's creators, fans and friends gather to compete for the coveted Channy trophy in categories such as "Best Show," "Best Non-Human Performance," "Best Failed Pilot" and more.
This year's Channy Awards will be hosted by Rob Lathan (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Improv Everywhere, Best Week Ever), whose Channel 101 credits include the long-running "Mister Glasses" and the very first Number 1 prime time show in New York, "Fun Squad." The show will also include special appearances and original video premieres from some of New York's best comedians and directors. It's both a send-up and celebration of real award shows, with a red carpet, musical numbers, all new original videos and, of course, awards!
Formal attire is encouraged, but not required.
