These free one-hour, mixed-bill events focus on the process of creating choreography. Three to four choreographers show finished or in-progress choreography with audience discussion following each work. Fridays at Noon is co-curated by Catherine Tharin and Krista Nelson and takes place on the 2nd floor of the 92nd Street Y, in Buttenwieser Hall with special video showings by Mimi Garrard in the lobby before each performance.
Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2009-2010 anniversary season. Check back in the winter for the 2010-2011 application.

Classic dances of Merce Cunningham are revived on this group of four. Directed by Robert Swinston.

For Teachers with students Grades 5–12
Introduce students to the art and process of dance making. View new dance works and works-in-progress by emerging and seasoned choreographers. Participate in discussions with dancers and choreographers about their process of making dances and take part in specially designed experiential dance workshops at the 92nd Street Y Harkness Dance Center.
