Israelis in New York: Are We Immigrants?
A lecture and discussion series exploring psycho-social challenges of Israelis living in New York. In Hebrew.

Rivka Bekerman-Greenberg and Naama Kushnir-Barash are both psychologists / psychoanalysts with thirty plus years of clinical experience. They have private practices in New York City, and have treated both Israelis and Americans. Rivka is a faculty member and supervisor at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. Naama is a Training Analyst and Faculty Member at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Reseach and the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis, and is also a Training Analyst at the Israel Psychoanalytic Society. Naama has published numerous articles and book reviews in professional publications, and Rivka is the author of Eavesdropping on Dreams, a play that explores the inter-generational transmission of Holocaust trauma.

Rivka and Naama have both been involved with issues of Israelis living and working in New York since the 1980s, when they participated in a study group of Israeli psychologists and psychoanalysts dedicated to examining these issues.
