Central Services present The Board of Education
Central Services present The Board of Education"The Board of Education album sounds like nothing else you'll hear in the kids music genre all year. I can't think of another album that will generate the chatter this one will."
—Zooglobble website

Created by Seattle band Central Services, A bright-eyed and jangly power pop outfit with strong echoes of their Pacific Northwest compatriots the Shins and the Posies, Board of Education is a fun and witty musical romp fronted by a former elementary school teacher and published children’s novelist. The songs have something for all ages; sample hilarious lyric (from the song Ice Ages Are Fun): "I don't know what I'm gonna do until it gets here / I don't know how I'm gonna wait for all that ice / but while we're waiting we can still have fun / water skiing around the Space Needle / 'cause places like Seattle will be underwater / New York City will be underwater / Disney World will be underwater / lobsters will live in Space Mountain." Kids (and kids at heart) get ready to ROCK!
