For more than 75 years, 92nd Street Y has supported, presented and taught dance, creating a home for everyone from Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey to the kids around the corner.
No other institution offers the breadth and depth of dance activity or provides as many different possibilities for people from all walks of life, at all levels of engagement, to experience dance. 92Y offers many ways to experience dance, whether participating in classes, watching performances, developing professional skills or dancing the night away at our dance parties. You can find modern dance, ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop as well as social dance styles like tango, swing, salsa and more.
