Please note: The Tiyul is on hiatus for the summer of 2008 but will be accepting applicants for the summer of 2009 starting in October 2008. We hope to hear from you then.

The Tiyul is five amazing weeks of community service, outdoor adventure and travel throughout the United States.

The Tiyul is for Jewish teens in 10th, 11th and 12th grades.

The Tiyul will change your life!

Challenge yourself and charge up your summer! Make a difference in someone else's life and your own!

    The Tiyul highlights:
  • Travel together with a group of 35 teens and five staff, and become part of unique and vibrant Jewish communities all around the USA.
  • Participate in a great variety of volunteer projects in each community, working with young children, the elderly, the environment and more.
  • Meet teens and community leaders from different locations as you work together side by side.
  • Have fun with great outdoor adventures.
  • Stay connected with The Tiyul throughout the year with retreats and special events, reuniting with your Tiyul friends that you've met along the way.
To receive a Tiyul information packet including a Tiyul DVD, send us an email with your name and complete mailing address.

The Tiyul is made possible by a generous grant from the Arthur and Rochelle Belfer Foundation.
