The 92nd Street Y's international programs are central to its mission to promote individual and family development and participation in civic life within the context of Jewish values and American pluralism and to reach out to people of diverse, racial, religious, ethnic and economic backgrounds.

Community Service and Outreach Programs
Public service and social responsibility are the principles on which the Y was founded. The Y embodies those principles by reaching out to its community, defined in the broadest sense, through an extensive arts outreach program, literary programs aimed at adults and children and community service efforts.

Scholarships
The Y welcomes everyone to take advantage of our programs regardless of economic circumstances. We offer scholarships to enable hundreds of children and adults to participate in the Y's education, arts, health and fitness, Jewish, family, camp and afterschool activities. We encourage individuals to apply for assistance as needed.
