Rock Out on the Guitar!
Don’t miss an awesome day dedicated to rock guitar!
Benjamin Verdery of the Yale School of Music leads the 92nd Street Y's second High School Guitar Day, bringing together high school guitar students from the greater New York area to participate in performances and workshops. High school guitarists with an interest in blues, classical, jazz and rock guitar are welcome to attend this free all-day event.
• Hear faculty and students jam on guitars and amps
donated by legend Lou Reed
• Play with pros in guitar workshops
• Listen to an all-star student performance
• Get cool stuff from The D’Addario Music Foundation
• Enjoy a rockin’ concert by special guest artists
