Weeks 3 and 4
Day 15
Arrive in Baltimore!
Travel to the Pearlstone Retreat Center outside of Baltimore
Relax, shower and have lunch
Travel in to Baltimore for free time at the Baltimore Aquarium and Inner Harbor
Return to Pearlstone for "Welcome to America" activities and choose your service project
Dinner and relax

Day 16
Choose from three fabulous service projects and set off on your first day of service projects from 9am-1pm
Return back to Pearlstone for some free time
Havaya staff run activity

Leave for sunset boat tour
Campfire under the stars with drumming and more!

Day 17
Day #2 of service projects
Take a guided wild edible walk through the forest of Pearlstone and enjoy your own findings!
Free time

Drive to Potomac, MD for a community concert and ice cream party performed by your Havaya staff!

Day 18
Day #3 of service projects
Drive to Potomac for pool party with the community
Home hospitality pick up
Enjoy Shabbat with your home hospitality families!

Day 19
Shabbat with your families
Meet back together for a musical havdalah service and nighttime program for Tisha B'Av

Day 20
Leave for Washington DC!
Move in to new accommodations
Set out for a day at the museums
Return to retreat center for either free time/relax time for those who are fasting or more museum and monument hopping!
Dinner for those who did not fast
End of Trisha Bad program
Dinner for those who did fast
Movie and discussion

Day 21
Morning biking tour of Washington monument
Program with Panim el Panim where you will learn in depth about political issues pertaining to Israel, poverty, environment and healthcare.
Enjoy the sunshine outside on the Mall as we play fun Havaya group games!
Dinner in DC
Bring a picnic blanket and a pillow as we join the locals at an outdoor movie on the lawn!

Day 22
Drive to NYC!
Arrive around 2pm
Late lunch and games at Central Park
Tour of the 92nd Street Y and move in
Intro to new community service projects
Dinner at the Y with surprise speaker
Group Service project

Day 23
Day #1 of service projects
Take a tour of the Jewish Heritage Museum
Picnic dinner at Central Park with Shakespeare in the Park!

Day 24
Day #2 of service projects
Choice of three different museums to explore and see
Dinner at the Y
Off to the theater we go to see a Broadway or Off-Broadway show!

Day 25
Back in the bus to head upstate
Enjoy an adventurous day out on the water tubing or whitewater rafting
Move in to our beautiful accommodations and get ready for our last Shabbat together
Light candles, sing, dance, eat and enjoy what close friends we have become!

Day 26
Choose a "prayer" service to attend (regular prayer, yoga, hiking and more)
Choose a discussion group to be apart of (on many interesting and thought provoking subjects
Eat lunch together
Free time: take a swim in the pool or pond, play a game of tennis, read a book, play a game of soccer, take a nap
Dinner together
Outdoor musical havdalah by the campfire that will go all night!

Day 27
Head back to the 92nd Street Y
Closing ceremony and say our goodbyes!
