The 92nd Street Y is an institution blessed with a proud legacy of accomplishment. The archival resources of the Y document this rich history and the diverse activities of the organization since its founding in 1874. The Y Archives contains unique materials of value to researchers in a variety of fields. In keeping with its tradition of community service, the Y maintains these archival resources for scholars, authors and other interested persons as well as for its own administrative uses.
