| Jeanne Marie Beaumont wrote Curious Conduct and Placebo Effects and co-edited The Poets' Grimm. She is director of the Forst Place Seminar and teaches in the Stonecoast low-residency MFA program. |

| Novelist and playwright Joseph Caldwell is the author of The Deer at the River, The Uncle from Rome, Bread for the Baker's Child and other books. |
|
| Peter Cameron is the author of three collections of stories and five novels, including Andorra, The City of Your Final Destination and the forthcoming Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You. He has taught in the MFA program at Columbia University and Sarah Lawrence College. |

| Sharon Dolin's books of poems are Heart Work, Serious Pink, Realm of the Possible, and the forthcoming, Burn and Dodge. She is poet-in-residence at Eugene Lang College of The New School for Liberal Arts and she also directs The Center for Book Arts Annual Letterpress Poetry Chapbook Competition. |

| Hettie Jones' memoir of the Beat scene is How I Became Hettie Jones. Her poetry collections are Doing 70, Drive and All Told. She has taught writing at New School University, SUNY Purchase and the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility and worked with Rita Marley on her recent autobiography, No Woman No Cry: My Life with Bob Marley. |

| Patricia Marx's writing credits include Saturday Night Live and Rugrats. She contributes regularly to The New Yorker, The New York Times and Time magazine. Her novel, Him Her Him Again the End of Him, was published in 2006. |

| Han Ong was the youngest playwright to be awarded the MacArthur Fellowship. His plays include Watcher, The L.A. Plays and Swoony Planet. He is also the author of the novels Fixer Chaos and The Disinherited. |

| Nahid Rachlin's books include Foreigner, Married to a Stranger, Veils, Jumping Over Fire and Persian Girls, a memoir. |

| Lore Segal is a novelist, translator, essayist and writer of children's books. Her books include Shakespeare's Kitchen, Other People's Houses, Lucinella and Her First American, which recieved an award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. |

| Brenda Shaughnessy, the author of Interior with Sudden Joy and the forthcoming Human Dark with Sugar, teaches at Columbia University and Lehman College. Her work has appeared in Best American Poetry, The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Conjunctions and elsewhere. She is the poetry editor of Tin House magazine and Tin House Books. |
